The SONOFF MINIR4M Extreme Wi-Fi Smart Switch is a compact and versatile device designed to automate lighting and electronic appliances in your home. As SONOFF’s first Matter-certified device, the MINIR4M seamlessly integrates with various Matter-enabled platforms, including Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa, allowing for unified smart home control across different brands and devices.
Its small dimensions allow it to be placed into various mounting boxes, including the smallest European standard ones.
Matter Compatibility
Thanks to Matter certification, the MINIR4M can work with other Matter end devices and integrate into Matter-enabled platforms such as Alexa, Apple Home, and Google Home. This allows you to control all your smart devices through a single app. Matter-certified devices support local communication within the home network, ensuring normal operation even if the internet connection is interrupted, offering faster responses and increased reliability.
SONOFF MINIR4M Extreme Features a Compact Design
The mini size of the MINIR4M ensures it fits into various mounting boxes, including the smallest 86/EU type. It is 40% smaller than the MINIR2 model, making it a discreet and efficient smart switch.
External Switch Control
The MINIR4M can be easily connected to momentary switches, door switches, SPDT switches, latching switches, and even dry contact sensors. This allows you to maintain the functionality of your existing switches while adding smart control.
SONOFF MINIR4M Extreme – Relay Detach Mode
With the “relay detach” mode, it separates the states of external switches and the relay. This means that controlling the external switch button won’t affect the relay’s state, allowing you to control smart lights via the app even when they are turned off by the physical switch.

SONOFF prioritizes safety and designs the MINIR4M in strict compliance with certification requirements. It has obtained TÜV, CE, and FCC certifications, ensuring enhanced safety and reliability.
Simple Setup
Adding the MINIR4M to Matter-compatible apps is easy. Just scan the provided Matter QR code with a Matter-compatible app, and the MINIR4M can be easily configured following the app’s instructions. It also supports adding devices via the eWeLink app.
Additional Protection
It is equipped with a delayed power-on state, to prevent all appliances from turning on simultaneously after a power outage, thus reducing the risk of damage to appliances from high currents.
Smart Scene Integration
It works with motion sensors, door and window sensors, and other sensors to automate your home.
